FIRST STOP MT LOFTY HOUSE AND MT LOFTY GARDENS

If only these walls could talk in this iconic historic mansion. Take a wander and enjoy cake and coffee on the magnificent lawns overlooking the vista.

Continue on with a stroll through the ancient rose garden and a 1km loop walk around the main lake with all the colours of the season and discover the artworks relating to the people, plants and environment.

SECOND STOP LUNCH

Next we traverse by car through picturesque Stirling and stop for lunch

 

MT BOLD RESERVOIR 

Settle in for an afternoon drive winding through the woods, taking in the sights and charm. Spot the kangaroos lazing in the sun or shade and a koala high up in the trees (if we are lucky). Be amazed by the vast 46.4 gigalitres encapsulated in this monumental dam. Mt Bold’s new viwing platform showcases panoramic views across the dam wall and over The Mt Lofty Ranges. It’s a prime stop for that selfie snap and to take in the ambience of this glorious space.

WINDY POINT

The road home is through picturesque Cherry Gardens and is another unforgettable ride through the trees and over the hills. We’ll stop at Windy Point to take in another panoramic view this time of the city and stretches out to see the sea and sunset. A perfect time to sip a beverage for all you hard earned adventuring.

If you would like to finish your tour her to stay for dinner at Windy Point that can be pre-arranged, and you will need to organise  alterative transport home.

Otherwise we continue back to your accommodation for drop-off.
